Music from the Waves: Experimental pianist/producer Freyja Garbett joins forces with multi-award-winning saxophonist Sandy Evans for Music from the Waves. Pushing the boundaries of traditional jazz, this multi-movement suite explores the synthesis between music and surfing to create ambient and invigorating sonic palettes. Freyja’s dynamic live performances and multifaceted approach to experimental sound have cemented her place in Australia’s contemporary jazz scene. Join the band as they ride the changes with fresh improvisations, transcending genres to defy musical expectations by incorporating elements of hip-hop, electronica, and classical music. 

Special Support: Brendan Clark (solo bass): Virtuosic bassist Brendan Clark offers audiences a compelling glimpse of the possibility and beauty of the electric bass unaccompanied. 

On Exhibition: Curl Curl Creative Space resident artist Rosario Huergo's Expressing the Unknown explores the artist's evolution over the past years through symbols, colours, and shapes. Each artwork tells a story, revealing moments of self-discovery and unique artistic language.
