Thanks to all our lovely customers who visit or call us each day. Your issues and concerns are important to us, and our dedicated teams across Council stand ready to help.  

From a friendly smile at the service desk, to a warm phone call, our teams strive for high customer satisfaction. From footpath, tree and compliance issues to environment, traffic or waste enquires, our teams field over 100,000 requests each year. 

We were thrilled to receive our highest ever customer satisfaction score last month. In June, customer satisfaction was 4.17 out of 5 (or 83.4%).

It topped off a good year for customer service, with the average score for the 2023/24 financial year being 4.02 (or 80.4%). 

Customer feedback revealed a range of positive comments, including prompt and efficient service, helpful and courteous staff, effective communication and the ease of using online services.

The score is generated through a six-question survey we ask customers to complete following the finalisation of each customer request. 

We know there is always more work to do and our staff continue to work to build your trust. We strive to communicate clearly and transparently, resolving matters as efficiently as possible.
