We all have a role to play in making sure the Northern Beaches is a place where everyone feels they truly belong and are included.

Council is proud to adopt Championing Diversity – Multicultural Inclusion Plan 2029.

It is a blueprint for greater inclusion of multicultural communities, with a range of actions to ensure the Northern Beaches is a place where all people feel welcome and can participate in community life.

The Northern Beaches is more diverse than you might realise, with residents from 123 different ancestries and over 110 countries of birth.

Almost 1 in 3 people on the Northern Beaches were born overseas, and 1 in 2 have at least one parent born in another country.

Together, we are making the Northern Beaches an increasingly safe, diverse, inclusive and connected place to live and work – a place where everyone feels welcome.
