Narrabeen Children’s Centre has been awarded the Large Community Metropolitan Service Excellence Award at an annual sector awards night.
The Excellence in Early Childhood Education Awards acknowledges the excellent programs, services, leaders, teams and trainees who provide to our young learners and their families.
This honour highlights Council’s commitment to creating a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring learning environment for our young learners and future plans for the service.
Narrabeen Children’s Centre is one of nine Early Learning Centres run by Council. The long daycare service offers care for 56 children, aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
The annual gala night is facilitated by the Australian Childcare Alliance NSW which is a national peak body that represents, advocates, informs and promotes quality early learning services throughout Australia.
This is the second high calibre award we have been recognised for this year with Belrose Children’s Centre being rated as ‘Excellent’ by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) which is the highest and most difficult rating to achieve.
This is the second time the centre has achieved the rating and is currently the only early learning service on the Northern Beaches with the accolade.
