It offers a range of self-catered cottages, sleeping from 4 to 16 guests, many with a cosy fireplace for those chilly. Currawong is perfect for family groups wishing to escape the rat race all while saving money.

If relaxing is not your style, there is always the tennis court, 6-hole golf course, volleyball, table tennis and nightly stargazing to occupy your time.

Several of the cabins have recently been refurbished to an award-winning standard, retaining their original simplicity, but now boast renovated bathrooms and kitchens, sweeping timber decks and energy-efficient features delivering an impressive setting for guests to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.

Steeped in history, heritage-listed Currawong operated for 60 years as a union workers' holiday camp. The original homestead was built by Dr Bernard Stiles in 1917, along with ten other cottages, now providing a home away from home while surrounded by national park.

The cottages are self-catered and can only be reached via the water by a regular ferry service from Palm Beach, or by private boat.
