The new inclusive playground at Little Manly Point opens Friday, just in time for school holidays.
Located on the old Manly Gasworks site next to Little Manly Beach, the park is surrounded by grass, bushland, leafy picnic areas and fantastic views of the harbour.
Little ones will love the new marine themed junior play area which features a timber boat, ship mast, binoculars, wheel, megaphone, wave play mound and an inground jumping pad.
While older children will have endless fun on the new climbing net, fireman pole, curved slide, shop front and rock climbing wall.
On top of all that there will be swings for all ages and abilities, a nature trail, new seating, access improvements and fencing around the rear boundary.
Come for a play, a fish, a swim or just relax. There is plenty of space to roll out the picnic rug.
The playground is an exciting part of the Little Manly Reserves Landscape Masterplan and is part of our ongoing improvements to this area.
Construction on the amenities building which will nestle into bushland at the western end of the carpark is expected to start later this year. It will include unisex accessible and ambulant toilets and a baby change table.
