The Northern Beaches Council has launched its first Course and Activity Brochure covering more than 40 community centres and almost 300 activities being run in 2017.

"This is the first time the community has had one resource at its fingertips which pulls together all the Community Centres and more than half of the listings for various Northern Beaches groups," said David Kerr, Northern Beaches Council Acting General Manager. "This is also another great example of what the formation of the new Northern Beaches Council has been able to achieve for the wider community.

Whether it is activities for children or seniors, health and fitness, music and dance or art and language, with almost 300 activities to take part in there is something for everyone in 2017.

"Our community centres are places where all sorts of people come together and connect through a variety of activities and this brochure helps every one of them find activities that interest them at a glance," Mr Kerr said.

The 2017 Course and Activity Brochures are available at all Northern Beaches Council Community Centres, Customer Service Centres or by visiting to warringah.nsw.gov.au.
