A trip to the theatre has become even more affordable with Glen Street Theatre now one of the local businesses registered to accept the Dine & Discover vouchers distributed by the NSW Government.
The 2 x $25 vouchers available to each NSW resident for use at cultural institutions and for live entertainment, can now be redeemed at Glen Street Theatre to purchase tickets to a show.
Designed to encourage the community to get out and about and support their local community, the vouchers are a welcome relief for businesses and residents alike hit hard by COVID-19 and last year’s bushfires.
Mayor Michael Regan said the vouchers were great news for the Theatre.
“With so many great productions coming up at Glen Street Theatre, I urge the community to put their vouchers to excellent use by booking tickets and supporting local live entertainment.
“The venue has theatre, music, comedy, film, dance and family friendly productions, and all so reasonably priced that one voucher can make a big impact to the cost of entry.”
The demand for tickets has been high since the theatre doors re-opened after the temporary closure last year, so it is advisable to book early to avoid missing out on a show.
