What happens when you stop avoiding the hard stuff and start talking?  You get Jane Hutcheon’s Difficult Conversations – an electrifying live event that turns a challenge into positive change.

Under the expert lead of journalist Jane Hutcheon, two guest panellists tackle thorny topics with wit, lived experience and candour, turning awkward moments into game-changing discussions.

But the real twist comes after interval when the audience takes the reins.  Questions – no matter how tricky – are put to the panel.

Jane Hutcheon brings more than 30 years of journalistic experience to the table.  A former ABC correspondent in China, the Middle East and Europe, she’s the host and creator of One Plus One where she conducted over 500 in-depth interviews.

Joining Jane on stage, only at Glen Street, are social advocate Kathryn Greiner AO and young economist Liam Anastasi.  Together, the three of them will challenge, surprise and empower.

“A difficult conversation is one you’d rather avoid—something that makes you uncomfortable or apprehensive. It could come from anywhere and be about anything, and, confronting it head-on can be liberating” says Jane.

With global uncertainty at an all-time high, Jane Hutcheon’s Difficult Conversations is the kind of unfiltered, respectful discussion we urgently need.  This is a gripping, courageous and entertaining theatre experience.
