Northern Beaches Council is thrilled to unveil its latest initiative, My Manly, inviting visitors to uncover the hidden delights of Manly, beyond its well-trodden tourist trails.
Front and centre of the My Manly campaign are esteemed locals who embody the essence of Manly: professional surfer Tully White, renowned surf photographer Murray Fraser of Sprout Daily, yoga guru Donna Freak from Flow mOcean, and Budgy Smuggler founder, Adam Linforth, affectionately known as Linny.
With these locals as guides, sharing their favourite spots and tips the campaign encourages every visitor to experience Manly like a true insider.
My Manly celebrates the authentic charm and vibrant spirit of Manly, showcasing not only its iconic tourist hotspots but also the lesser-known treasures that make this coastal enclave truly unique. From secluded beaches to cozy cafes tucked away in charming laneways, the campaign invites visitors to explore Manly like never before.
Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins said the campaign's mission is to reveal the heart and soul of Manly.
"While Manly boasts many renowned attractions, the true essence of our community lies in its hidden gems, wonderful laidback vibe and amazing locals.
"With the My Manly campaign, we aim to provide visitors with an insider's guide, curated by locals who are passionate about sharing their favourite spots and secrets.
“Join our locals and embark on a journey to uncover the authentic allure of Manly with the My Manly campaign. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned local, there's always something new to discover in this coastal haven.”
Designed to encourage exploration during quieter periods, the My Manly campaign not only promises enriching experiences but also presents an opportunity to support the local economy. By enticing intrastate and interstate visitors to venture beyond the beaten path, the campaign seeks to promote sustainable tourism while injecting vitality into Manly's vibrant community.
