Northern Composure 2018 continues to go from strength to strength with an awesome lineup in place for the finals being held at Manly Youth Centre on Friday 13 April from 7 - 11pm.
This annual competition for unsigned local youth bands has attracted an eclectic range of talent. More than 500 people have already attended the three heats held across the Northern Beaches.
Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said the finals looked set to be a close competition with a number of talented bands vying for the top spot.
“It’s wonderful to see the breadth and depth of local talent.
“We’re proud to support our youth by providing Northern Composure as a platform for them to share their musical talent with a wider audience,” Mayor Regan said.
Six bands have made the finals including Hot Heads, Scoot the Loot, Astral Plane, Colonel Skunk and the Spunk Monkeys, Edgecliff and Heartlake.
Entrants are in the running to win great prizes including a music production, recording and marketing package worth $7,700 as well as $1,000 cash.
Tickets for the final are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
