Northern Beaches Council wishes to advise that Powder Works Road in Narrabeen will be closed from 8PM on Thursday evening (18 November) to allow a crane to remove a tree which has fallen on a house.

Powder Works Road will be closed between Taiyul and Cooleena Roads and is expected to re-open after 5 to 6 hours.

Diversions will be in place. Traffic Control operators will be stationed at the intersection of Gondola and Pittwater Roads to divert traffic along a detour route. They will also be stationed on Powder Works Road at the intersection of Warraba Road and also at the other end of Powder Works Road at the intersection with Cooleena Road.

The tree removal works have been scheduled at a time which should have least impact on road users. Council apologises for any inconvenience the road closure may cause.
