Celebrate summer and the things you love about the Northern Beaches this Australia Day long weekend.
Northern Beaches Council is hosting a number of fun, outdoor events on and in the lead up to Australia Day.
“From food trucks to pool parties, there’s something for everyone,” Northern Beaches Mayor Michael Regan said.
“All our events will be delivered in line with current NSW Health Orders.”
Vendors for the Food Truck Party at Balgowlah Heights have been announced. On the menu is Greek street food, Turkish gozleme, German sausages, Yum Cha, Mexican food, vegetarian and vegan dishes, Thai food, woodfired pizzas, North African food, carnival food like Pluto pups and chips on a stick, freshly made gelatos and ice creams, waffles, crepes and other delicious desserts.
Tickets are also selling fast for the screening of Red Dog at the Mona Vale Open Air Cinema on Tuesday 25 January.
There will be roving performers across the Northern Beaches to support local businesses with live music and entertainment. The Coastal Environment Centre at Pelican Path, North Narrabeen, will also host an open day from 10am to 3pm on Saturday 22 January, with live native animals, native plant displays, workshops, kids activities and storytelling.
