Something special is growing down at North Curl Curl community garden.

Among the lush gardens, blooming flowers and ripening crops, a new playground is taking shape.

We are building a timber play structure, new footpaths, seating and picnic areas, nestled between the Council nursery and community garden, and nearby the newly built skate park.

Fitting with its location, the timber play structure will be shaped as a giant pumpkin. The play space will be suitable for children of all ages, with mulch and rubber soft fall underfoot. 

We are also planting new trees and shrubs to create a beautiful garden space for the whole community to enjoy. The works are expected to be complete in October.

It’s all part of our masterplan to transform the North Curl Curl Community Centre.  We’re also planning to install a new public artwork in the area, with details to be announced soon.
