Presented by MusicNSW and Northern Beaches Council, in partnership with the Live Music Office and APRA AMCOS, Sound Advice is a professional development workshop that connects artists and industry experts.
Hear from a panel of musicians and industry experts, including Amber Rose, Sammie Walsh, and Brae Fisher.
Emerging and mid-career artists can learn how to set up a music business sign up for royalties, and build your audience and followers.
The panel discussion will also provide insights on career pathways and strategies to grow and manage your music career while growing your network in the music business.

Speakers:
- Brae Fisher – Lead vocalist for Dear Seattle, an indie-rock outfit from the Northern Beaches. Starting out on Triple J’s Unearthed, Dear Seattle has since released two studio albums and two EP’s, and performed at leading Australian music festivals.
- Sammie Walsh – Founder, Beehive PR. Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Sammie previously worked for major Australian entities including the Mushroom Group and Future Music, before establishing Beehive as one of Australia’s premier music publicity agencies.
- Amber Rose – Northern Beaches raised singer-songwriter. Amber has sold out headline shows across Sydney and appeared on festival lineups on Australia’s east coast with renowned acts such as Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, and Xavier Rudd.
