As the busy summer months approach, our Special Works and Transformation team (affectionately known as S.W.A.T) are on a mission to get Manly in tip-top shape before the summer rush begins.

The cleaning blitz rolled out this week attacking a range of tasks to get Manly ready for millions of visitors and locals enjoying all the area has to offer.

Repair tasks included gardening and paving works, repainting seats, pavement scrubbing and high-pressure cleaning as well as graffiti removal and mulching.

While Council crews are out in Manly doing cleaning and repair work every day, the S.W.A.T team is an opportunity to coordinate a blitz to knock off all those little jobs that can really make a difference.
