A new amenities building is coming soon to Frank Gray Oval in North Curl Curl and will include female friendly change rooms to support local AFL, cricket and hockey clubs, as well as parkrun participants.
The new facility will replace the ageing building at the northern edge of Frank Gray Oval within John Fisher Park, which is no longer fit for purpose. It will be constructed on the same site and will include unisex change rooms, accessible toilets, showers, a canteen, and storage facilities.
The works are expected to start in November and be complete in May 2025, weather permitting.
Temporary change rooms with toilets have been installed for local sporting groups to use while construction is underway.
The project is funded by Council, Cricket Australia and Cricket New South Wales under the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund, and the NSW Government Office of Sport under the Female Friendly Community Sport Facilities and Lighting Upgrades Grant Program.
