Bynoe’s Wattle is a semi-prostrate shrub that grows to one metre high. They grow in heath or dry sclerophyll forests on sandy soils. The shrub produces single flowers on short hairy stems.

The flowers appear between September to March.

Endangered in NSW and listed as Vulnerable, nationally.
