The Eastern Water Dragon (Intellagama lesueurii lesueurii) is a lizard that feeds on invertebrates, reptiles, frogs and fruit.

This lizard is found around creeks, watercourses, coastal areas and backyard ponds and is more often heard than seen plopping into water from its basking position.

Please do not approach or attempt to feed water dragons, as they have sharp claws and can deliver a serious bite.
