The creamy-white flowers appear from August to November and fruits appear from October to December.

They grow on moist sandy loam soils in sheltered aspects and on gentle slopes below cliff-lines near creeks on low open woodland. 

This upright hairy shrub is listed as Endangered both nationally and within New South Wales.
