Ararat reserve contains a small bushland reserve to the south of the playing fields which also form part of the Bantry Bay Bushland Reserves. This reserve provides important habitat for local native fauna and is a major wildlife corridor connecting to Manly Warringah War Memorial Park and Forestville Park.
