Bungan Beach and Headland Reserves are found on the south-eastern extremity of the Barrenjoey Peninsula. Habitats including Coastal Scrub, Beach and Rock Platforms provide homes and resources for native animals. This is an important habitat for scarce species like Long-nosed Bandicoots, Peregrine Falcon and the Powerful Owl.
