Lionel Watts bushland reserve is located at the Frenchs Forest Showground. The value of this bushland is conservation of remnant bushland in an urban setting.

Vegetation

Lionel Watts reserve supports the threatened ecological community Duffy's Forest (DFEC) . The DFEC that occurs on this site is a particularly rare form of this community, characterised by a taller canopy containing Blackbutt (Eucalyptus pilularis). This site also contained the threatened plant species Grevillea caleyi.
