Sandy Bay lies to the north of Clontarf on Sandy Bay Road providing access to Middle Harbour.

The 120m wide bay is very sheltered and faces south east towards The Spit just 500m away. The bay has a low, narrow, curving 150m long high tide beach fronted by intertidal sand flats up to 200m wide, which fills most of the bay. 

The storage facilities include:

• 7 horizontal dinghy racks - maximum length 3.5m
• 8 horizontal kayaks  racks - maximum length 4m

This storage facility and its waitlist are at capacity.  No further applications will be taken at this time. Council will regularly update this page with the current status.
