The 25th of November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. It is also the beginning of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, which ends on the 10th of December - the International Human Rights Day. As part of the 16 Days of Activism Activities we are hosting a walk for the community to attend. We are meeting at the Manly Lagoon Play area have a short opening ceremony and then walk to Shelly beach for a short commemorative ceremony. Walk from the Manly Lagoon Play area to Shelly Beach to remember those victims who have lost their lives to Domestic Abuse. Rotary Warringah, Zonta Northern Beaches and the Northern Beaches Domestic Violence Network are leading the walk as part of our 16 days of Activism activities.
