In 2024 MAG&M celebrates 100 years of collecting. To mark this milestone, MAG&M will be commissioning leading Australian artists to create new work for the collection.

To support fundraising for commissions, Archibald winner Blak Douglas has kindly provided MAG&M with a newly created painting Speared No Mercy that will be auctioned on Friday 28 July 2023.

The silent auction commences on Friday 14 July 2023, with artwork on display in MAG&M's foyer. Bidding closes at 8 pm on Friday 28 July 2023 at MAG&M’s free after-hours event – Tacos, Tunes & Tattoos. 

The winner will be contacted by MAG&M. A reserve price applies and bids must be made in person.
