In honour of Carer’s Week, you are invited to the opening night of an exhibition showcasing works created during a series of Collage for Carers workshops. Celebrate the creativity, community, and camaraderie of our dedicated local carers!

A carer is anyone who provides unpaid care and support to family members or friends who have a disability, mental illness, terminal illness, alcohol or drug issue, or who are frail aged (Carers Australia).

Join us for interactive collaging, live music, and refreshments and nibbles.

Everyone welcome!

Collage for Carers Workshops

These workshops were a series of fun and interactive workshops exploring creative practice as a tool for self-care, connection and community building.

Facilitated by Angie Cass, a collage artist and educator at Hazelhurst Art Gallery, and Nicole Buckland, a collage artist and occupational therapist, this series of workshops provided the opportunity to learn traditional and contemporary collage techniques and meet other carers in a safe, friendly space.

Supported by a Northern Beaches Council Arts & Creativity Grant
