The Women's Resilience Centre would like to invite you to a special lunch we are hosting in collaboration with LocalKind to celebrate International Women’s Day.

This event provides a fantastic opportunity to connect and support a significant cause for our organisations - addressing domestic abuse.

• IWD-themed stories of kindness and resilience, shared by talented storytellers from The Story Room (please note, Story Room shows typically cost $38)
• A raffle/auction of fantastic prizes to raise well-needed funds for both charities

About the speakers:

We have three inspiring speakers from @the_story.room who will be sharing their stories of kindness and resilience: Georgie Furze, Manly Woman of the Year, who shares her own story of resilience, Dr Florence Cotel, a neuroscientist who addresses burnout, and Dr Jodi Edwards, a proud Yuin woman and 2023 NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year, sharing stories with a connection to country;

Join us to commemorate International Women’s Day with delicious food, great entertainment, and the chance to support two fantastic local charities that help women and their families who have suffered domestic abuse on the Northern Beaches and beyond.

$39.50 of your ticket price is a tax-deductible charitable donation that will be shared equally between The Women's Resilience Centre and LocalKind.
