This group are well known jazz musicians who have performed at Manly Presbyterian Church at the Jazz Gospel Service held in conjunction with Manly Jazz for many years.

The tunes continue from midday with Sammy Taylor commanding the vibe, bringing the best of groovy funk to the courtyard to kick start the last day of 2024 Manly Jazz. Our very own Northern Beaches bluesman Bart Rollins takes to the stage from 3pm with his enigmatic and soulful presence. Carrying a voice that is deep and rugged yet pure as honey, his palpable confidence is drenched in a style all his own. From 6pm, soulful singer Nikki is accompanied by a DJ to bring you the perfect party close to the courtyards line up of jazz. Singing and spinning tunes, what more could you need.

Tino Levi is bringing his soulful duo to the ground floor from midday, the perfect accompaniment to an afternoon of good vibes, cold beers and the classic bistro. Then from 3pm, enjoy blues, boogies, spirituals, rags & ballads performed by piano player and vocalist Don Hopkins (Jim Conway's Big Wheel, Dr. Don's Double Dose). Oozing the barrelhouse, good-time fun of a blues party night, with the emphasis on New Orleans piano styles, a Don Hopkins performance will get you singing and dancing along and is the perfect way to close out another year of Manly Jazz.

Hunter Black is a familiar face around the Northern Beaches. From pop anthems to the soulful melodies of Stevie Wonder and the like, this modern day piano man is setting the tone for an epic afternoon of jazz from 1pm on the rooftop. Take in the action from above and enjoy live jazz from the funky folks of Mambo Brown Trio from 4pm. Featuring Michael 'Mambo' Brown on Sax and vocals, John Maddox on bass and vocals and Tim Bradley on drums, their music blends jazz, reggae, ska, afro beat, soul and funk for the ultimate closing sesh.
