Is there accessible seating?
We welcome everyone to our event. If you have any accessibility or inclusion requirements in order to fully participate, please let us know prior to attending the event by contacting events@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au or call 02 8495 5497.
Behavioural standards
Northern Beaches Council will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour of a threatening, aggressive, or abusive nature towards our audience members, guests, volunteers, staff or partner venue staff. Northern Beaches Council reserves the right to deny admission to the Venue.
This is an event for families.
All children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Copyright
Film piracy, recording or copying is a criminal offence and violation of copyright.
Any person caught recording or copying any session will be removed immediately from the venue; all their tickets and passes will be cancelled and every action will be taken to ensure that they are prosecuted to the full extent of both the criminal and the civil law.

Film ratings
These classifications are advisory categories. This means there are no legal restrictions about viewing and/or playing these films and computer games.
General (G)
The content is very mild in impact.
The G classification is suitable for everyone. G products may contain classifiable elements such as language and themes that are very mild in impact.
Parental Guidance (PG)
The content is mild in impact.
The impact of PG (Parental Guidance) classified films and computer games should be no higher than mild, but they may contain content that children find confusing or upsetting and may require the guidance of parents, teachers or guardians. For example, they may contain classifiable elements such as language and themes that are mild in impact.
PG-rated content is not recommended for viewing by people under the age of 15 without guidance from parents, teachers or guardians.
Mature (M)
The content is moderate in impact.
Films and computer games classified M (Mature) contain content of a moderate impact. M-rated films and computer games are not recommended for children under the age of 15. They include portrayals of elements such as violence and themes that require a mature outlook.
However, children under the age of 15 may legally access this material as the classification rating is an advisory category.
Parents, teachers and guardians may need to find out more about the specific content before deciding whether the material is suitable for children in their care.

General event FAQs
What chairs am I allowed to bring?
Only low lying chairs with bar legs, bean bags and picnic rugs are permitted. To ensure everyone enjoys the movie, please leave your camping chairs (with four feet) at home - they will not be permitted onsite.
Can I bring my dog/pet to the event?
Unfortunately, dogs/pets are not permitted at this event. Assistance animals are permitted, please contact the Events Team.
What should I wear / bring?
Here are our recommendations to have the perfect evening:
- It can be chilly once the sun goes down! Be prepared and pack a jumper, layer up and/or bring a blanket to ensure you have a cosy night.
- If it’s been a bit wet, we encourage you to bring something to keep dry. Lined picnic rugs are always a good option when sitting on grass.
- Low lying chairs with bar legs and bean bags are permitted. Camping chairs (with four feet) will not be permitted.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You are most welcome to BYO food and drinks, or enjoy something from our onsite food trucks.
Please note, this is a glass free event.
Will there be water onsite?
There will be water stations for you to refill and refresh. Please bring your own water bottle. Note, no food vendors will be selling bottled water onsite.
Can I bring my pram to the event?
Yes, you can bring your pram. There will be access on to the field and we ask that you are considerate of other patrons around you for best viewing.
Can I smoke/vape at the event?
No, our events are smoke free. Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted.
What if it rains?
As this is an outdoor event, we are subject to weather and encourage you to bring wet weather gear (raincoat, ponchos, umbrellas etc.) in case of light rain.
In the event that the Open Air Cinema is cancelled, ticketholders will receive communication from Northern Beaches Council via the event webpage, social media channels and email prior to the event.

What happens if the event is cancelled?
Northern Beaches Council reserves the right to cancel the event at any time if it considers it necessary and/or is in the interest of public safety due to any sort of dangerous conditions and/or force majeure. All cancellation notifications will be announced on the Northern Beaches Council event webpage, social media channels and ticketholder email.
We will do our best to reschedule the event. If we are unable to postpone, your tickets will be cancelled.
Ticketing
Do I need to book tickets for children under 4 years old?
Yes, please register for one free ticket per person, including children.
Can I book tickets on the night?
All tickets must be pre-booked, there will be no tickets available at the Venue. You can book tickets online up until 6.45pm on event day (unless sold out prior).
Where will I be seated?
This event is general admission only, please arrive early to secure your seat on the grass.
How do I scan into the event?
Head straight to the gate with your tickets displayed on your smartphone. We also accept printed e-tickets.
How much do tickets cost?
This is a FREE event. Please register for one ticket per person (including children).
What do I do if I have lost my ticket confirmation?
After booking your tickets, a confirmation page will load and you will automatically receive your tickets by email. This email will usually come through after a few minutes, however please keep an eye on your spam or junk mail if you have not received.
If you are certain that you have not received the confirmation email, please contact the Northern Beaches Council Events Team on 1300 434 434 or email events@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au who will be able to check your details and reissue your tickets.
