The Darren Heinrich Trio is a classic Hammond Organ combo with an emphasis on groove. Equal parts tradition and innovation. Led by local award-winning organist and composer Darren Heinrich, whose music reflects a diverse spectrum of styles, from early rag-time roots to modern jazz. Holding a PhD in jazz organ improvisation, Darren has studied extensively with Hammond masters Dr. Lonnie Smith and Tony Monaco, and performs regularly with local and international acts.
