Join us for a fun and thought-provoking weekend at the gallery! On Saturday and Sunday, 16-17 November, we’re hosting special, all-ages screenings of Analects of Kung Phu by artist Jason Phu, with showtimes at 11am and 2pm. The popcorn is on us!

Analects of Kung Phu takes inspiration from the wise (and sometimes not-so-wise) sayings in martial arts classics like Drunken Master and Avatar: The Last Airbender. With humour and wit, Jason Phu blends these pop culture moments with ancient Chinese texts to create a playful "moving image philosophy" for surviving modern life.

Ever wondered if advice from your favourite action stars actually works? Join us to see how Phu questions these teachings, mixing laughs with deeper reflections on how movies shape our world views.

Grab some popcorn, relax, and enjoy the 90 minute ride!
