Learn new skills, find a preloved board and get inspired to reduce surf waste going to landfill!

  • Marketplace - trade your pre-loved surfboards, stand up paddleboards and accessories - wetsuits, fins, leg ropes, helmets, booties and covers. 

  • Repair – learn how to do a minor board fix-up, bring your board. 

  • Repurpose - discover art and accessories using end-of-life boards and surf gear.  

  • Recycle - drop off your end-of-life wetsuit (from any brand), keep it out of landfill.  

  • Sustainable Surf-brand stalls - a showcase of Australian brands leading the way in sustainability. 

  • Beach clean-up coffee – meet at Emu Parade’s coffee van for further information.

A waste-free event, BYO refillable water bottle and reusable coffee cups. 

Register as a Marketplace Trader 

 To sell or swap your boards and surf gear costs $10 registration (+ booking fee).

 Bump in from 10am, be ready to trade by 12pm and pack down at 4pm. 

BYO your own market set-up. (please note marquees are not permitted)

Are you a sustainable surf brand or local business and have surf-related products made from repurposed waste to showcase? 

If so, register for a free stall (manly@surfrider.org.au by 26 July 2024. ) and join Varuna, SurfWAW Handplanes, Sunbutter Sunscreen, Surfboad Souls Manly, Pittwater Eco Adventures and Surf Sock.
