Underwater presents a new body of work by artist Maria del Carmen.

The exhibition delves deeply into feelings of despair and pain, with an altruistic intention to transform them. In response to the profound impact of current world circumstances, Maria del Carmen reflects this emotional and existential upheaval. 

Through this process, I aim to express how these turbulent times have shaped my personal experience, while offering a sense of transformation and hope. Ultimately, my work aspires to show how even the darkest emotions can evolve into something that resonates with compassion and understanding. It’s been a rewarding process where i got to explore through my work the limits of my imagination and the courage to show this from a vulnerable place. - Maria del Carmen.
