Food truck operators are now invited to express interest in trading at Northern Beaches Council’s Spring / Summer events season 2024/25.

World Food Markets 2024-2025
Food Trucks are able to request to participate at any of the locations however must commit to both weeks at any location.
The markets will be held from 5pm to 9pm.
- Newport Oval, Newport: Friday 11 & 18 October 2024
- Collaroy Plateau Park, Collaroy Plateau: Friday 1 & 8 November 2024
- Millers Reserve, Many Vale: Friday 15 & 22 November 2024
- Freshwater Beach Park, Freshwater: Friday 3 & 10 January 2025
- Allambie Heights Oval, Allambie Heights: Friday 7 & 14 February 2025
Food vendor event fee: $720 excl. GST for 2 weeks (equates to $360 per week)
Open Air Cinema Brookvale 2024
Food trucks are required to commit to both evenings.
- Event dates: Friday 25 & Saturday 26 October
- Event time: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
- Location: Brookvale Oval
Food vendor event fee: $340 excl. GST for 2 nights (equates to $170 per night)
Christmas Markets 2024
- Event date: Sunday 1 December
- Event time: 8am – 2pm
- Location: Lakeside Park, Narrabeen
Food vendor event fee: $150 excl. GST
Christmas Choral Concert 2024
- Event date: Thursday 5 December
- Event time: 5pm – 8:30pm
- Location: Manly Oval, Manly
Food vendor event fee: $270 excl. GST
Christmas by the Beach 2024
- Event date: Friday 13 December
- Event time: 4pm – 7:30pm
- Location: James Meehan Reserve, Dee Why
Food vendor event fee: $170 excl. GST
Australian Made Markets 2025
- Event date: Sunday 19 January
- Event time: 8am – 2pm
- Location: Village Park, Mona Vale
Food vendor event fee: $150 excl. GST
Australia Day Food Truck Party 2025
- Event date: Friday 24 January
- Event time: 5pm – 9pm
- Location: Lionel Watts Reserve, Frenchs Forest
Food vendor event fee: $170 excl. GST
Australian Day Eve Open Air Cinema 2025
- Event date: Saturday 25 January
- Event time: 5:30pm – 8:30pm
- Location: Lakeside Park, Narrabeen
Food vendor event fee: $170 excl. GST
Food truck conditions of all events
- Limited positions are available.
- Included in the food vendor fee is a food truck/trailer site.
- Due to limited power supplies onsite all food trucks/trailers must have their own power generator.
- Food vendors are to provide their own truck/trailer/van (with fully enclosed walls, sides & back) and equipment including hand washing facilities. Food marquees are not eligible.
- Food vendors must have a Temporary or Mobile Food Permit to operate within the Northern Beaches, for more information please see our website and applications forms. Additionally, sellers must comply with all aspects of the Food Act 2003, the NSW Food Authority Guidelines Mobile Food Vending Vehicles, Chapter 3: Food safety standards under the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code and Guidelines for Food Businesses at Temporary Events.
- Food vendors must also hold valid Public and product liability insurance certificate ($20M) and Food safety supervisor certificate.
- Food vendors must adhere to Northern Beaches Council Event Waste Management Guidelines. Plastic and polystyrene products and packaging, including drinking cups, food containers, drinking straws and stirrers, cutlery, plates or any single use plastic must not be used or distributed at this event. Prohibited single-use plastic includes 'bio-plastic', 'biodegradable plastic', 'degradable plastic' or 'compostable plastic' products. Some plastic products are certified compostable, but they are prohibited because they behave like any other disposable plastic in the environment in the unfortunate event that they are littered. Any products sold or distributed must be reusable, or comprised of biodegradable or recyclable material.
