This activity is inspired by the picture book The Trees: Learning Tree Knowledge with Uncle Kuu. The picture book is about caring for Country and respect for Indigenous knowledge, and a copy will be available to read within all Library spaces.

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia 7 - 14 July to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
