woman and carer
Thursday, 17 October 2024 - 10:45 am to 12:00 pm

Join Wendy Hill from Carers NSW for this one hour webinar on planning ahead for carers.

The free interactive session will be presented live on a large digital screen with Q & A.

This session is in-person at Glen Street Library, Thursday 17 October, 10.45am - 12pm.

Planning for the future can be challenging for carers. Carers may avoid thinking about future needs for themselves and the person they care for, until they are in crisis.

The webinar will run for 60 minutes and provides:

  • An overview of the legal, medical, financial and other practical considerations in planning for the future.
  • Information about tools and supports to help carers prepare to transition someone to aged and/or end of life care.
  • An opportunity to reflect on the emotional impacts carers may experience at this time of transition.
  • Question time for attendees

Printed resources will be provided to attendees.

Free, bookings essential.

10.45am arrival for tea and coffee with 11am webinar start.
