Saturday, 22 March 2025 - 01:30 pm to 03:30 pm

We invite you to join our Humans of the Northern Beaches Living Library event, a unique storytelling project that celebrates our shared human experience. Our 'books' are community members with personal stories of overcoming adversity and finding belonging. As 'readers', you can 'borrow' and have a conversation with them.

Come listen and connect with diverse community members from the Northern Beaches. Some of the stories you will hear are about:

  • turning adversity into strength
  • rebuilding life in Australia as a refugee
  • using food to connect people
  • being different on the Northern Beaches

Save the date! More details to come.

This is the second Living Library event. The first Living Library will be held at Tramshed, Narrabeen on Sunday 16 March as part of the Story of Us Intercultural Fair.

The Living Library is a project created by Northern Beaches locals from diverse backgrounds as part of the We Belong: Intercultural Community Leaders Program, bringing our many cultures, perspectives and traditions to life. The project will bring together different cultures, increase awareness and knowledge of community experiences, and enhance social and cultural inclusion on the Northern Beaches.
