Thanks to your ongoing support and the dedication of our hard-working library staff, we've been able to successfully deliver almost 30,000 items in the space of six weeks.

Here is how we prepare your Library2U request for a safe contactless delivery to your home. 

It all starts with your choice

Using either our website or library app, you can choose to reserve up to five items from our vast collection of books, audiobooks, DVDs and more to be delivered to you through Library2U. Alternatively, you can select the Librarian’s Choice option. Let us know what you’re interested in and our expert librarians will get to work selecting items they know you’ll love.

Picking your order

After placing your request, the information is sent to our staff who work diligently across our many branches to pick your chosen items. 

Organising your delivery

Once we have collected your items, they are loaned onto your account. Our library system will send you an email when this happens. Our staff then package the order and organise them by suburb, checking for any delivery instructions you have provided us.

When will my books arrive?

We aim to have your order at your door as soon as your item is available in the library. Variations in demand, item availability and the need for items to be transported between branches means this can take some time. Rest assured that we are working hard to ensure your order is delivered as soon as possible.
