To coincide with Sydney World Pride, Lifesavers with Pride are hosting a photography exhibition in the Creative Library. Lifesavers with Pride is Australia's alliance of same-sex attracted and gender diverse surf lifesavers. They advocate with Surf Life Saving Australia and Surf Clubs nationally to promote a welcoming, inclusive and progressive Surf Life Saving culture that is proud and safe for all its members. 

This exhibition is a collection of the Lifesavers with Pride journey thus far, showing the key events, people and experiences they have engaged with across the community since their inception in 2006. This collection highlights the diversity amongst their members as well as the love and joy that they share with one another and of course their Pride for the inclusivity of the Surf Life Saving community.  

Visit the Creative Library located on Level 1 of Manly Library during February and March to view the exhibition.
