That's a wrap for the Northern Beaches Life Skills program! This program has seen 8 youth events run over the last few months, reaching over 160 young people. 

Working with our core participant group, we ran free events and workshops to help local young people connect with each other as well as develop skills which are often lacking in traditional classroom settings including job seeking, car maintenance, financial literacy and peer mental health support. The Mario Kart tournament and board game night was popular and provided a fun, safe space for young adults to socialise.

We are working on some more exciting ideas for young people, so keep a look out for more opportunities to participate soon! 

Northern Beaches Life Skills is proudly supported by the Northern Beaches Council, Northern Beaches Library and NSW Government. This initiative provided the participating student volunteers with valuable skills in project management, website building, finance and event management.
