MAG&M is acting to minimising the impact our gallery and operations have on the environment. As a proudly public gallery and museum, through CEAD, we are committed to continuing our longstanding commitment to presenting exhibitions and programs that explore the intersection between art, design, and the environment to connect people and find shared solutions for a sustainable future.

We are actively working to reduce our environmental impact by:

  • using 100% renewable energy

  • using 100% LED lighting

  • operating our collection management cooling system at maximum energy efficiency

  • working towards net zero waste in our exhibition design, furniture, and offices

  • monitoring our behaviours and practices to reduce consumption and use sustainable sources

  • capturing and re-using rainwater on-site (by 2025)
