Manga

Manga are, essentially, graphic novels and comics that originate in Japan. They are typically read right-to-left (what Western audiences would consider back-to-front) and are usually in black and white.

Northern Beaches Libraries have ‘collected volumes' – manga is usually serialised in large Japanese magazines and then collected into standardised books. Most manga series are long running and span across multiple volumes.
